  1. Confession: I don’t consider myself to be a creative person. AT. ALL. Totally ironic since I’m surrounded by creative people all day every day at work, right? I guess you could say I find creative solutions to overcoming obstacles, but that’s where it ends…I’m NOT artistically inclined, and even though words are my medium, I would never ever ever write creatively. I’ve tried, and just…NO. You’re inspiring me, though, to think more about my own processes from a broader perspective. I apply the skills at work out of necessity, yet I’ve never thought about how it factors into my personal or educational lives. Hmmmm…can I play even though I’m not an artist? 🙂

    1. Scouting out just what I will photograph. Then figuring out the angle and perspective of my to what is being photographed. Determining aperture, shutter speed, and ISO as well as focus all of which impact the photo. Then any post processing, which I tend to do a limited amount. I prefer to spend the time initially in taking the photo, so I end up doing photo processing and not photo editing. Lots to think about and fun to do as well as mentally stimulating

  2. Am enjoying your blogs and seeing your sketches. Sounds like you are settling in and starting to work your creative process. No matter what the medium when we work to create an idea in our minds in a tangible way it is challenging, sometimes frustrating, and also satisfying and enjoyable. You encourage me to work at my creative process with my photography
